Crack Magazine interviews Sir Quentin Blake

Friday 23rd August 2013

Free arts and music magazine, Crack, met the illustrator in summer 2013 to get an in-depth interview about his work.
Geraint Davies met Sir Quentin in his London studio to discuss his best-known classic work - such as that for Roald Dahl's books - as well as more recent projects for hospitals and classic adult fiction for The Folio Society.  The interview aims to reintroduce him 'to a generation who may not have engaged with his work since childhood'.
Published in issue 33, the article is accompanied by photos of the illustrator at his drawing board, alongside some of his recent work: including a sketch drawn during the interview (pictured).
