A trail of 80 giant 'Gromit' figures are hitting the streets of Bristol this summer

The giant Gromit figures, brainchild of Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park, have each been decorated by a different contributor.  Artists, designers, musicians and celebrities have all added their personal touches to the statues.  Gromit-decorators include Jools Holland, Joanna Lumley, Cath Kidston and, of course, Quentin Blake.

Quentin's Facebook page includes an album of photos of him painting Gromit - from start to finish!  Find it here: www.facebook.com/quentinblakeofficial

All 80 Gromits are unleashed around Bristol city from July to September this year.  Visitors can pick up a Gromit trail map to help them find each one.

The Gromits will all be auctioned later this year.  All proceeds from Gromit Unleashed will benefit Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.
