Two summer exhibitions of work by leading British illustrators
In association with Chris Beetles Gallery, two National Trust properties are presenting exhibitions of artwork by illustrators such as Quentin Blake, Emma Chickester Clark, John Burningham and Michael Foreman. All the unique works in both shows are for sale.
The 'Quentin Blake and Friends' exhibition at Mottisfont, near Romsey in Hampshire, runs 19 July - 14 September, and includes some of Quentin's work for the hit West End musical 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Families can get inspired by the exhbition and then set off on a story trail around the house and grounds, for a fun-packed day out. 'Children's Illustration' has been a popular fixture at Nunnington Hall in Yorkshire for a number of years, and returns again this summer to enchant new and regular visitors. Works by Quentin Blake are shown alongside many other contemporary illustrators in a world-class show. The exhibition runs 12 July - 7 September.
