Last chance to see the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2012

Wednesday 1st August 2012

The world's largest open submission contemporary art show, now in its 244th year, continues the tradition of showcasing work by both emerging and established artists in all media including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film.
This year, Quentin Blake has submitted three pieces to the show from his recent work.  These pieces are continuations in the series 'The Life of Birds' (from his 2005 book of the same title) and are produced as signed, limited edition giclee prints in editions of 100 each.
Visit the exhibition at the Royal Academy at Burlington House in London's Piccadilly until 12 August.  For full details of opening times and admission prices, go to the Royal Academy website
