Quentin Blake Goes Bilingual: the South Ken Kids Festival 2018

Quentin Blake is the parrain of the South Ken Kids Festival, and this year, he has made a selection of original drawings from children’s books published both in English and in French, for an exceptional display in the Salons of the Institut français. These include The Green Ship/Le Bateau Vert, Cockatoos/Les Cacatoès and his latest book The Five of Us/Pas de Panique!.

Also featured are five drawings from his book of classic French Fables by Jean de la Fontaine, which Quentin will be dicussing on 25 November at a 'Meet the Author' event.  (Booking for this event, which is aimed at children aged 12+, is essential, and can be done via the South Ken Kids Festival website.)
