The BFG in Pictures

This exhibition was curated by Quentin Blake and  features 40 of his original artworks, prepared for Roald Dahl’s classic story The BFG.

The exhibition is a touring show from the House of Illustration and includes unpublished illustrations which will be exhibited alongside the some of the final illustrations for the book. The show includes some of the first designs for the character providing a fascinating insight into the collaboration between author and illustrator, and a glimpse of a BFG that might have been, together with the many different incarnations of the The BFG on posters and postage stamps.

The exhibition runs alongside a programme of family activities of arts and crafts and competitions.
